GLENWOOD, Ill. – A funeral was held yesterday for the ex-girlfriend of Knicks center Eddy Curry and her daughter.
The service for 24-year-old-Nova Henry and 9-month-old daughter, Ava, took place at Calvary Baptist Church in Glenwood, Ill.
Knicks spokesman Jonathan Supranowitz told The Associated Press that Curry was in Illinois yesterday for a private viewing and did not plan to attend the funeral.
Authorities found the bodies inside Henry’s Chicago apartment on Jan. 24. An autopsy showed both were shot to death.
At the scene, authorities also found Curry’s 3-year-old son. He was unharmed.
Chicago police spokesman Dan O’Brien said no one has been charged in the slayings.
