Gani Lawal scored a game-high 25 points and Iman Shumpert hit a pull-up jumper with one second remaining to lift Georgia Tech (10-10, 1-6 ACC) to a 76-74 upset of No. 6 Wake Forest (17-2, 4-2) yesterday in Atlanta.

Georgia Tech senior Alade Aminu had 10 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks and younger brother Al-Farouq Aminu had 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Wake Forest, which committed two turnovers in the final 35 seconds.

Pitt 93, Notre Dame 80

In Pittsburgh, DeJuan Blair led five Pittsburgh players in double-figures with 23 points and grabbed a career-high 22 rebounds, and the No. 3 Panthers (19-2, 7-2 Big East) rallied to hand Notre Dame (12-8, 3-6) its fifth straight loss.

Luke Harangody had 27 points and 11 rebounds for Notre Dame, and Luke Zeller added 18 points, all on 3-pointers.
