The car thief who mowed down and killed two Queens pedestrians admitted to cops he “had five or six vodka drinks and took two Xanax pills,” before his joyride, authorities said yesterday.
Kenneth Guyear, 27, also confessed he stole the car, but said he didn’t know he hit someone, sources said.
He admitted, “I have a drinking problem,” the sources said.
Guyear is accused of plowing into Robert Ogle, 16, and Alex Paul, 20, in Middle Village on Sunday.
He was held without bail last night on charges of manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, assault, grand larceny, possession of stolen property, criminally negligent homicide, leaving the scene of an accident and DWI.
He already had a Brooklyn arrest on his record for unauthorized use of a car while drunk, according to prosecutors.
