A man driving a Toyota Prius was arrested after repeatedly ramming his small, fuel-efficient car into a pick-up truck – and then shoving its 61-year-old driver – during a Colorado road-rage incident.
“I think the only damage was whether the pickup’s wheel ran up against the Prius,” said Colorado Springs Police Sgt. Rick Cirka about attack that led to the arrest of David Cox.

A 47-year-old Pennsylvania man was sentenced to nearly three years’ probation for marijuana delivery after telling a judge his 16-year-old daughter had persuaded him to commit the crime.
Richard Lerch said he has a bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses that make him highly susceptible to people talking him into doing things.

A soldier taking his first skydiving jump managed to land safely when the instructor he was tethered to suffered a fatal heart attack after their parachute deployed.
Daniel Pharr, 25, grabbed the parachute toggles, as he had seen people do on TV, after instructor George Steele stopped answering questions in mid-jump over South Carolina. Pharr’s jump was a Christmas gift.

Doctors in England are unable to figure out why a 14-month girl has failed to grow beyond the size of a newborn.
“The doctors don’t have clue what is wrong with her,” said Atlanta Ruzman, whose daughter Suraya weighs slightly more than 7 pounds – 13 pounds less than a normal weight for her age. “She cannot sit, talk or crawl and has to be fed through a tube to keep her alive.”
