BAGHDAD – In the latest of a series of attacks on Shiite pilgrims, eight more died in separate bombings of two minibuses yesterday, officials said.
The attacks followed bombings last week of pilgrims on their way to Karbala. Sixty were killed.
Sunni militants have kept up the attacks, hoping to reignite sectarian violence.
