HAUTE LIST

THE good news is she’s still got it. Dressed-to-impress First Lady Michelle Obama picked a gorgeous plum-and-black Narcisco Rodriguez number (above) to wear to her husband’s big speech Tuesday night.

GIVEAWAY: Win Heidi Klum’s Beauty Kit!

The bad news is it was custom made for Mrs. O – and not available for purchase. Obama purchased the silk-and-wool dress through Ikram, her favorite boutique.

But hard-core first lady fans can score the lacy pink Tracy Reese dress she’s wearing on this week’s People magazine cover.

“The addition of Tracy Reese is more significant because . . . it signals she won’t convert to a strictly serious, somewhat restrained, grown-up style,” says Mary Tomer, founder and contributing editor of Mrs-O.org, a fan site. Tomer loves this dress because it expresses Obama’s young, feminine and playful side. “There is clearly still room in the first lady’s closet for fun, more girlish fashion.” Reese’s “Guipure Lace Kimono Dress” just hit stores yesterday.

“I was so honored that the first lady chose to wear one of my dresses,” says Reese. “I think it means a lot that women across the country can afford to wear what [she] is wearing.”

Available in sizes 0 to 12; can be custom ordered in mint green.
