Country music sensation Taylor Swift will show off her comedic chops when she hosts an episode of “Saturday Night Live” next month.
The 19-year-old singer, who was a musical guest on the late-night program last January, will host the Nov. 7 episode. She said she hopes to collaborate with Andy Samberg on one of his digital shorts.
“Of course I’ve been such a fan for a long time, but I’ve gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they’ve been done so well. Andy Samberg is hilarious,” she said.
Swift, who wraps up her “Fearless” tour this weekend, has sold more than 10 million albums, including 4 million for “Fearless.” But that hasn’t stopped her from already tossing around ideas for “SNL.”
“I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time,” Swift told the AP. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.”
Perhaps one skewering last month’s VMA incident with Kanye West? We’ll let them do what they want, but we’re just sayin’, it’s one of the best ideas of all time!
