Be sure your tray tables — and mousetraps — are in their upright position.
A single pesky rodent managed to ground a London-bound jumbo jet at JFK Airport this week, officials said yesterday.
The squeaky stowaway was spotted running through the cabin of a Sunday-night Delta flight to Heathrow Airport, prompting the pilot to clear all 202 passengers off the plane.
It took three hours to get them on a new plane, delaying the 9 p.m. flight until midnight.
“We thought it was a joke, but the captain said we all had to get off,” Andy Picken, 47, told London’s Daily Telegraph. “It is amazing that something as small as a mouse disrupted a trans-Atlantic jet.”
The pilot of the Boeing 767 was concerned that the mouse would chew though electrical wires mid-flight, which could lead to a calamity.
