A dim-witted teen was busted for making a terrorist threat at the Apple Store at the Staten Island Mall, authorities said today.
Jason Barry, 17, allegedly typed a letter under a friend’s dad’s name Monday claiming he would blow up the store on Jan. 17 with C4.
“I have threatened your store and all its employees with a bloody death … whoever the crew maybe working, or the innocent citizens that walk in … will be eliminated with the force of a 98lb bomb located with C4, strapped to my chest,” Barry wrote, according to court papers.
Investigators from the 122nd Precinct determined Barry left the threat and arrested him yesterday.
He was charged with making a terroristic threat, Staten Island DA Daniel Donovan said.
