Somebody in NASA was flying high, but not on the space shuttle, according to a report Thursday.
The U.S. space agency is launching an investigation after an unspecified amount of cocaine was found Wednesday inside a plastic bag in a Cape Canaveral, Florida shuttle processing facility, Central Florida News 13 reported. The building is where workers are prepping the space shuttle Discovery for its scheduled March trip.
Some 200 personnel were tested Wednesday and there was no indication any worker was under the influence on duty, the station said, citing a NASA spokesperson.
NASA has a zero tolerance policy for drugs in the workplace.
