“General” Larry Platt is tired of everyone’s ripping off his pants.
The “American Idol” sensation says he may sue imitators doing their own renditions of his viral hit “Pants on the Ground” without permission.
“I need a copyrighter,” Platt, 62, told Fox News. “They are stealing my stuff.”
Since Platt’s “Idol” audition aired, the song’s been sung on TV by talk-show host Jimmy Fallon, recorded by an indies rock group and used to celebrate a Minnesota Viking playoff win.
