Lady Gaga might be a “Fame Monster,” but she’s not above doing a summer internship.
The extravagant singer has applied for the low-level spot at famed hat maker Philip Treacy, Vogue in the United Kingdom reported yesterday.
“The request came through quite a while ago,” said a rep for the famed London milliner.
Philip Treacy has produced several of Lady Gaga’s stage outfits.

The New York native wouldn’t be the first music star to take a fashion internship.
Kanye West, for example, has worked at Louis Vuitton and Gap.
Companies that hire celebrity interns can get as much out of the deal as their A-list protégés.
“Internships are a win-win situation because the business also benefits as they are provided with some talented, affordable help and are given the opportunity to trial a prospective employee to see if they are the right person for their company,” said Ben Rosen, CEO of Inspiring Interns.
