The $20 movie ticket: ‘Shrek’

This story reports that the $20 movie ticket level has at last been reached, at some Manhattan theaters showing “Shrek Forever After the 3D Imax Experience” (on Ice?). I think a lot of moviegoers are going to feel ripped off for paying that kind of money for such a feeble story line in which a few weak puns and lite-FM tunes are the only sources of humor. By the way, I clocked the movie at barely 82 minutes before credits (though it’s listed at 93 minutes with credits). Not exactly value for money.
