The structures have not been used as restrooms for decades.

A Tennessee man who got a $90 speeding ticket last month bought the rights to the Bluff City Police Department’s Web site after the department let it expire — and now he and other motorists use it to grouse about traffic cameras that issue citations.
The police chief said the officer in charge of the site was on medical leave when it expired.

A Twin Falls, Idaho, man was busted for allegedly ripping off a riding lawn mower by hiring two accomplices for a flimflam.
The suspect had two pals tell a woman they had hit her car. When she went inside to tell her hubby, the thief jumped on the mower and drove away, cops said.
The suspect said he was acting as a repo man, but stopped after realizing the mower’s serial number didn’t match the one he was looking to take.

Tusk, tusk. A jay-walking elephant had Swiss motorists slamming the brakes when the pachyderm ambled into six lanes of traffic in Zurich.
Sabu, who fled while circus handlers were loading her into a trailer, first took a bath in Lake Zurich, then headed to see the sights before she was recaptured without incident.
