One of the men rounded up in the Northeast during the investigation of the failed Times Square bomb is now in custody in New York.
Aftab Khan was to appear Wednesday in Manhattan federal court.
Khan and two other men were detained last month on immigration charges as authorities followed the money trail in their inquiry about car bomb suspect Faisal Shahzad . None have been charged criminally.
Shahzad is accused of trying to set off a car bomb in Times Square on May 1. Investigators believe he relied on an underground money transfer system to fund his operation.
Khan — who was taken into custody last month with a cousin in suburban Boston — has denied having any connection to Shahzad.
New York prosecutors declined comment on Wednesday.
