Actor Charlie Sheen’s car was found in a ditch over the side of a cliff in the Hollywood Hills, Fox News reported Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Police Department told Fox that the “Two and a Half Men” star’s silver 2010 Mercedes-Benz was discovered by police at around 3am local time Tuesday morning.
Law enforcement officers told Fox that no one was in the car and no injuries were reported but a stolen vehicle report was filed.
According to the TMZ the actor was unaware his car was missing when police informed him that the vehicle was found 100 feet (30.48 meters) over the side of the cliff along the 13,300 block of Mulholland Drive.
Detectives were due to investigate a surveillance tape at the guard shack to see if the car was picked up on camera leaving the property.
The vehicle was stolen after the actor had left his keys in the car, which was parked in the driveway of his gated community home, reported TMZ.
Bizarrely, Sheen had already had one Merc stolen from outside his house in February after he left the keys in that vehicle.
That car also turned up in a ditch in the same area.
