Giants wide receiver Domenik Hixon was hurt at practice Tuesday.
“Hopefully it’s not serious,” Tom Coughlin said, “but it will be sore tomorrow.”
Hixon was working on return drills when his cleat became caught in the turf and he fell to the ground. He stayed down for a few moments before walking off the field.
ESPN.com posted a photo of Hixon on the bench shortly after with his knee wrapped.

DT Justin Tuck said the new Field Turf playing surface in the new Meadowlands stadium is a bit spongy.
“It’s different, this is a new field so it has not been broken in yet, it’s still kind of soft,” Tuck said following the afternoon practice.
