Left flat
A 46-year-old motorist was arrested on June 14 for wigging out on a used car dealer during an argument over — of all things — a tire.
Prosecutors allege that the motorist punched a dealership employee in the eye on May 21 during a racially-fueled dust up that began when he saw a 19-year-old taking the air out of one of his tires.
“I have a gun, you f–king Arab!” the man yelled before punching the younger man outside the shop, which is on Ralph Avenue near North Market Street. He then fled, but not before he “exposed himself” to everyone at the dealership, according to prosecutors.
Cops charged him with assault and public lewdness.
Rent heist
A 28-year-old charlatan was arrested on June 18 for fleecing two people in a looney landlord scam.
Police allege that the suspect claimed to own a home on Canarsie Road and offered the basement apartment to two different potential tenants at two separate times, as long as they were willing to put up one month’s rent and one month’s security.
He reportedly took $1,900 off each victim but continued to delay their move-in date, probably because they would bump into each other if they did move in.
When the potential tenants demanded their money back, he refused, telling one that he could “call the New York City police, the feds or the President of the United States” but he was not going to give the money back.
After a brief investigation cops took the 28-year-old into custody, charging him with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
It was unclear if the man actually owned the home, which is between Avenues M and N.
Car kicker busted
Police were called to the corner of Foster Avenue and Rockaway Parkway on June 14 after a man took out his frustrations on a hapless car.
Cops were told that the 22-year-old suspect was having an argument with the owner of the vehicle shortly after 5 pm when, in an attempt to get in the last word, he pointed a gun at his victim and repeatedly kicked his car, leaving several dents.
Responding officers took their suspect into custody the next day, charging him with menacing and criminal mischief.
Cruisin’ and snoozin’
A motorist was arrested on drunk driving charges on June 18 after he fell asleep behind the wheel of his Nissan Maxima — which then slammed into a parked vehicle.
Police said the 27-year-old was still sleeping when he was found on East 93rd Street between Foster Avenue and Farragut Road at 5:45 am.
Hot wheels
Cops took a 20-year-old into custody on June 19 after they caught him tooling along Rockaway Parkway in a stolen car.
Police said that the suspect used a tool — a screwdriver to be precise — to start the 1998 Infiniti I-30.
His joy ride came to an end when he was pulled over near Willmohr Street, police said.
Robbed in Kings Plaza
A crew of five thieves ganged up on and attacked a 14-year-old girl as she shopped in Kings Plaza on June 16.
The victim told police she was inside the mall on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue U at 1:45 pm when the thugs attacked, punching her in the head as they made off with her purse and property.
Flatlands felony
A thug forced his way into a Flatlands apartment on June 17, taking $200 and some jewelry.
The 45-year-old victim said he returned to his home on Flatbush Avenue between Avenue K and East 38th Street to find that someone had snapped the front lock to his door.
Bakery raid
Four gun-weilding thugs barrelled into an Avenue L bakery on June 12, robbing the two employees they found inside.
Police said that the suspects entered the bakery at 10 pm, pulling two guns on their victims.
They robbed the employees of their property, then rummaged through the register looking for more cash, said officials, who added that no injuries were reported.

The hefty reward is part of the city’s ongoing push to rid New York of graffiti, the leading quality of life complaint brought to police.
