While cops in Florida investigated a woman’s claim that Johan Santana raped her last year, the Mets hurler admitted to police that he had consensual sex with the woman “in the open field” near a golf course, according to a bombshell police report made public today.
Santana, who is married with three kids, first met the women 10 days before the Oct. 27, 2009 incident in Fort Myers, according to the report, which was posted on thesmokinggun.com website.
Santana told cops he first “exchanged a kiss” with the woman on Oct. 26 during a stroll.
The next day, the 31-year-old Mets ace told police he went on another walk with the woman, during which he exchanged “several kisses and embraces along the way.”
He said they continued making out in a “secluded, wooded” area, where the woman “seemed very excited and forward towards me.”
That’s when they began “to have sexual intercourse while standing in the open field,” he told police, according to the graphic report.
The lurid details of the encounter were made public on Wednesday after TMZ.com posted a police report of the woman’s original complaint in which she argued that she was sexually assaulted.
Santana was never charged with any crime after cops said they didn’t have sufficient evidence.
In the report made public today, Santana said the woman, who has not been identified, wanted to “continue the encounter” at her home.
“I told her I was about to climax and ejaculated on her right leg,” Santana is quoted as telling police, according to the report.
