The Mets’ second-best prospect entering the season, according to Baseball America, was promoted from Low-A Savannah to High-A St. Lucie Thursday. The 18-year-old hit .278 with seven homers and 44 RBIs in 66 games for the Sand Gnats.

Following a promotion from High-A Tampa in early May, Noesi has continued to excel. He is 4-1 with a 2.20 ERA in seven starts for the Thunder, and this week was named to the World roster for next month’s Futures Game.
