“Transformers” star Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green wed in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on the Big Island in Hawaii — just one week after they were engaged on the island, TMZ reported Monday.
Fox, 24 and actor Green, 36, began dating in 2004 after meeting on the set of U.S. sitcom “Hope & Faith.”
A source told America’s Star magazine, “They had a fairly large wedding, but there were clearly more security people than guests… They had to call in local security because the hotel security alone wouldn’t do. It was very hush-hush. Everyone was sworn to secrecy.
“It seemed like a spur of the moment thing. I don’t think it had been planned long.”
And Fox’s spokesperson reveals the rumours are true, telling People.com: “Yes they are married.”
Fox was so excited by Green’s beachside proposal she lost the two-carat engagement ring, Us Weekly reported.
“Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it,” a source told the magazine. “No one found it.”
It was the couple’s second engagement after ending their previous two-year engagement last year.
The news came after it was announced that Fox would not reprise her role as Mikaela Banes in the third installment of the “Transformers” franchise, a series of action films based on the toy and cartoon saga of the same name.
