David Farrell was charged with burglary after he slipped into the New York Law School in TriBeCa without a pass, police said yesterday.
He allegedly went into an office where a woman was seated at her desk. She called security, and Farrell, 57, was arrested.

A pervert was busted for grinding up against a woman aboard a subway train in Midtown, authorities said yesterday.
Gilbert Welsh, 57, came up behind the victim on a Lexington Avenue express train heading toward Grand Central Station at about 9:30 a.m. Friday, cops said.
The woman alerted cops at Grand Central and Welsh was charged with sexual abuse.

A maid is facing burglary charges after cleaning out a Union Square office of electronic equipment, authorities said yesterday.
Ana Alvarez, 19, swiped three laptops and two iPods from the office on West 17th Street near Fifth Avenue at about 8 a.m. on June 8, cops said.
After her arrest Thursday, she allegedly told cops, “I knew the fourth-floor schedule and had cleaned there before. We took electronic items from the rooms.”

A woman was busted at Saks Fifth Avenue for trying to purchase designer handbags with a bogus credit card, authorities said yesterday.
Sheila Irish, 64, allegedly tried to make off with two handbags worth nearly $2,500 at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
An eagle-eyed employee became suspicious of a fake driver’s license Irish allegedly used to prove the credit card was hers.
She was charged with attempted grand larceny, ID theft and forgery.

In a second incident at Saks, a man was arrested after “buying” more than $5,000 in merchandise with a stolen credit card, police said.
José Alvarado, 38, was caught on camera allegedly using the stolen card to purchase a $2,172.06 suitcase and a $3,048.50 handbag at 4:06 p.m. Thursday.
A guard became suspicious and grabbed him outside the store.
Alvarado was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
Brooklyn
A Williamsburg man stabbed his child’s baby sitter, police said.
Herbert Bruno, 37, who was intoxicated, started banging on the locked door of a bedroom where the sitter was sleeping in his apartment on Gerry Street near Broadway at 2 a.m. Sunday, according to authorities.
He demanded she open the door and, when she did, he knifed her in the back, cops said.
She underwent surgery at Woodhull Hospital for wounds that were not life threatening. Bruno was charged with assault.

A passenger pummeled a bus driver in Midwood, authorities said yesterday.
Jason Ferreira, 22, clashed for unknown reasons with the driver at Bay Parkway and McDonald Avenue at 4:50 a.m., cops said.
Ferreira allegedly slugged the driver in the head, face, eye and arm.
He was charged with assault.

An elderly woman was struck and killed by a car yesterday in Brighton Beach.
Maya Arshanskaya, 82, was crossing Brighton Beach Avenue at Brighton Third Street at about 10:45 a.m. when the dark-colored 2008 Mercedes plowed into her.
She was rushed to Lutheran Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver stayed at the scene and was not charged.
Staten Island
A knife-wielding prowler threatened a homeowner yesterday after slipping into her house in Dongan Hills, police said.
Michael Melville, 33, sneaked through the front door of the home on Liberty Avenue near Olympia Boulevard at about 1:30 a.m., cops said.
The homeowner spotted him in the kitchen and shouted. Melville allegedly grabbed a knife, swiped a bottle of Xanax pills and tried to stab the woman before fleeing out the door.
The woman called cops and Melville was arrested nearby with the stolen pills in his pocket, police said.
He was charged with burglary, menacing and possession of stolen property, said a spokesman for Staten Island DA Daniel Donovan.

A drunken driver walked away without a scratch after smashing through a gate and overturning his vehicle in Livingston, authorities said yesterday.
Andrew Rudjord, 30, was driving a 2006 Mercedes on Richmond Terrace at about 8 p.m. Sunday when he lost control while turning onto Pelton Avenue.
His car careened through a fence and flipped over.
Rudjord refused a Breathalyzer test and was charged with DWI, authorities said.
