Livery driver Mohamed Bah was busted after showing up at a Queens station house to claim a license plate he had lost — during a hit-and-run crash in Jamaica.
Bah was driving on Liberty Avenue near Liverpool Street on Oct. 19 when he slammed into the back of a parked Chevy pickup, police said. No one was seriously hurt, and Bah allegedly took off.
The other driver turned the plate in to cops.

After knocking off a Bank of the West branch, he was spotted offering bystanders $1,000 for a ride. Sure enough, he got away.

Shelby Chapel and Terrance Obele are running as write-in candidates against Charles “Nick” Nicholas, who had held the post from 1986 until his death on Oct. 1.
Chapel acknowledged that “not too many people know of Nick’s demise.”

A Halloween prank led to jail for two women accused of planting a mannequin in the desert and reporting spotting a body.
Sharron Dennis and Tina Jamarillo were arrested after San Bernardino County, Calif., cops caught them on a hilltop with binoculars, watching emergency crews respond to their bogus call, police said.
