Eight students at a Los Angeles junior high school were hospitalized Thursday after reportedly eating drug-laced brownies.
Emergency crews were called to George Washington Carver Junior High School in south Los Angeles at approximately 9:30am local time after students reported feeling ill, according to KTLA-TV.
The brownies were reportedly brought to the school by one of the eight students who were hospitalized. It was unclear what drug was in the brownies, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The students, aged 11 to 13, were hospitalized in good condition, according to Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department
