The Jets didn’t upset their apple cart by putting in a claim yesterday for Randy Moss.
But even before the waiver process got to the Jets, Jeff Fisher’s Titans snapped up Moss yesterday in a bid to replace Kenny Britt.
“As I’ve said many times before, he’s one of the premier vertical threats in the game,” Rex Ryan said. “Tennessee acquired a great football player.”
Mark Sanchez, in response to a WFAN report, joked that he was indeed hanging out with Moss — in the Jets’ cafeteria.
Darrelle Revis was asked how Moss might have worked in the Jets’ locker room.
“I don’t think Randy’s a bad guy,” Revis said. “His press conferences look bad, but I don’t think he’s a bad guy, I can’t make that judgment because I haven’t been around him as a teammate. . . . This whole situation’s been shocking. Probably to a lot of people.”
