‘Supernanny” may look a bit more like “Teen Mom” when its sixth — and final season — premieres tomorrow night.
“We are going to be looking at a lot of young families — parents in their 20s and teens with children,” says the star, Jo Frost.
“I think it is a great idea for people to look at the reality of raising children at a young age,” she says. “Especially teenagers who have to start making decisions based on raising a newborn.
“People think [having children] is really glamorous because magazines are filled with young celebrities and their children. And that may be the case for them, but it is not the case for the young family in Iowa.”
Frost says she also hopes to aid a pair of same-sex parents this season. “I have never worked with a gay family before,” she says. “But your sexual preference does not define you as a parent.”
