LONDON — A 14th century hand-illustrated book with all the tales of King Arthur’s legendary court, is expected to earn more than $3 million at a Sotheby’s auction in London next month.
The illuminated work, known as the Rochefoucauld Grail, written on animal hide in Flanders or Artois — known as the low countries — between 1315-1323 is one of the world’s earliest surviving accounts of the fabled king’s life.
