His special delivery led a postman right to jail.
Still wearing his crisp blue uniform slacks, a Bronx letter carrier hung his head in shame yesterday as a judge ordered him held in lieu of $250,000 bail for allegedly dealing two bricks of cocaine from his mail truck.
Felix Soto, 49, was charged with selling a controlled substance and conspiracy after a narcotics investigation tracked a mailed package at Kennedy Airport to Soto’s Bronx post office June 14.
Authorities said the 22-year veteran mailman then picked up the package, put it in his truck along with his regular deliveries, and promptly dealt the blow to an unidentified man.
The 2-kilo coke stash had a street value of $250,000, according to Queens DA Richard Brown.
Soto was arrested Wednesday at the post office.
If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
