BOSTON — A Boston cat is proving there could be something to the nine lives theory after surviving a fall from a 19th-floor apartment.

Brittney Kirk told FOX station WFXT that her deaf cat, Sugar, miraculously survived the 19-story fall in Boston’s West End on Wednesday.

The feline’s owner said she luckily landed on a small patch of grass and mulch.

Another resident in the building saw Sugar fall past her window and went out to find her.

Sugar sustained some bruising to her lungs but is expected to be OK.

Kirk considers the cat’s survival an early wedding gift, since she was walking down the aisle Thursday.
