Camille Grammer is out of “The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills.”
The ex-wife of Kelsey Grammer said over the weekend that she would not be coming back for the next season the ‘”Housewives” franchise’s most poisonous show.
She “wasn’t willing to expose her personal life anymore,” and is “ready for new challenges,” according to people.com.
“She’s at peace with her decision,” the source said.
But as usual, the reality is probably a little more complicated.
Insiders are saying Camille’s departure was “mutual” — as much the call of the network, Bravo, as it was hers.
In a notoriously difficult cast — including two of Paris Hilton’s aunts — Grammer stood out.
“I’ve had so much fun with the franchise, but I guess the producers and I couldn’t come to an agreement,” Camille told Us Weekly.
Three years ago, when the show was being cast, Camille put on a full-court press to get on — including coaxing then-husband Kelsey to tell the producers that if they cast her, he’d make a cameo appearance or two during the season, which he did,
It’s believed she got half Kelsey’s $100-million net worth in the divorce that became final last fall.
