The Bronx perjury trial of two former pals of jailed ex-NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik was put on hold yesterday after the judge decided to talk to jurors about media coverage of the case.
Supreme Court Justice John Carter also ordered lawyers not to speak to the press in the trial of brothers Frank and Peter DiTommaso, construction-firm owners accused of lying about renovations to Kerik’s Bronx home. The trial is slated to begin Thursday.
