Cops executing a search warrant in Brooklyn today made a skin-crawling discovery — a pet alligator, authorities said.
The 3.5-foot reptile was found in the West 6th Street home in Gravesend, cops said.
In addition to the wild animal, cops also found two loaded handguns, a shotgun, metal knuckles, prescription pills and marijuana, police said.
Michael Volpe, 32, and his wife, Alisa Volpe, 25, were charged with harboring a prohibitive animal, weapons possession and possession of a controlled substance, cops said.
