A Bronx man suspected of robbing nine people — in some cases while wielding a hypodermic needle — was arrested yesterday, police said.
Angel Cintron, 39, was nabbed in Yonkers by the NYPD’s Bronx warrant squad, sources said.
Cintron allegedly most recently struck at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday, when he threatened a 14-year-old on a northbound No. 1 train at West 86th Street and made off with the boy’s cellphone, the sources said.
Cintron, who the sources said has drug problems, is believed to have first struck on Aug. 16.
He allegedly threatened his victims with a needle in at least six of the incidents — and made off with iPods, iPads and cellphones.
