Fomer NBA star Iverson accused of abducting kids: report

This was not the answer.

Tawanna Iverson, the ex-wife of Allen Iverson, claims that the former NBA MVP abducted their five children and she is hoping to have a court force Allen to return them to her.

According to TMZ.com, Tawanna recently filed legal documents stating that Allen received permission to take their children –ages 3 to 16– on a five-day vacation in Charlotte, NC beginning on May 22, but he never returned them on the agreed date of May 26.

According to Tawanna, she tried to set up the exchange on June 4, but the fomer Sixers superstar never came to the neutral meeting site.

Tawanna, who has sole legal and primary physical custody of their children, said she is concerned because of her ex-husband’s alcohol abuse, which she claims he does around their kids. She even believes that Allen never took the children to Charlotte and is staying with them at a Sheraton hotel in Georgia.

Tawanna suggests that the 11-time all-star should go to prison, as she had attempted to have happened after Allen allegedly owed more than $40,000 to her in child support.
