Allen rejects Spike’s plea for ‘He Got Game’ parody before Heat’s Game 7 triumph

MIAMI — Knicks superfan/filmmaker Spike Lee got thwarted by the Heat again.

Lee attended the morning shootaround at AmericanAirlines Arena in advance of the Heat’s 95-88 Game 7 win over the Spurs.

He brought along a camera crew to film a spoof with Ray Allen, who played the Jesus Shuttlesworth character in Lee’s hit 1998 film “He Got Game.”

Allen was the hero of Game 6 Tuesday with his miracle 3-pointer that sent the game into overtime and saved the Heat’s season.

When Lee approached a Miami PR staffer, he was told Allen does not speak at shootarounds. It was unclear if the Miami publicist recognized Spike initially.

When Lee persisted, he was told Allen will be given the request. Soon after, Lee got the bad news: Allen felt it would be too distracting before last night’s monumental Game 7, and he was sticking to his shootaround policy.

Lee left in a huff but not before the Knicks biggest fan wished Miami coach Erik Spoelstra good luck.

Allen didn’t have much of a game last night, though, going scoreless while missing all four of his shots.

* Dwyane Wade, who has had a bad bone bruise in his knee since March, said he hopes to avoid surgery in the summer and will undergo special therapies.

* No matter what happened in Game 7, Carmelo Anthony was assured of finishing no lower than fifth in field-goal attempts in this year’s playoffs.

That’s the first time someone who played in only two playoff rounds has finished among the top five postseason shot-takers since Allen Iverson managed to do so for Philadelphia in 2003.

* The Heat and Spurs played for a little something more than the NBA title last night. There also was a small amount of cash at stake.

OK, “small” perhaps might only be in NBA-player terms.

In actuality, the clubs played Game 7 for $776,717.

Such was the difference in the playoff shares that the clubs would be receiving from the league out of this season’s $13 million pool of postseason money.

As winners, the Heat received an additional $2,302,232 to split however they chose from the league office while the Spurs got an additional $1,525,515.
