A Bronx teacher was busted for having sex with a 16-year-old student, police said.
Brian Kearins, 33, Music teacher at Herbert H. Lehman High School in Westchester Village, was arrested after the victim’s sister discovered emails shared between the two and showed their mother, a police source said.
The mom alerted the school and cops arrested Kearins early Wednesday morning, the source said.
The relationship between Kearins and the victim appears to have been consensual, according to a source, and is believed to have started sometime in the fall of 2012. The source said it’s believed that all of the encounters took place at the school.
Kearins was charged with rape and endangering the welfare of a minor.
