GOLF: Phil 3rd at Scottish Open

Phil Mickelson eased back into links golf with a 6-under 66 at the Scottish Open, leaving him tied for third with six others and behind two Englishman after a low-scoring first round.

NBA: Hawks sign Schröder

The Hawks, facing a decision with restricted free agent Jeff Teague, signed point guard Dennis Schröder, a first-round draft pick from Germany.

Teague signed a four-year, $32 million offer sheet with the Bucks. The Hawks have three days to match it.
