The “Boys” are back in town.
After spending last season in Mississippi, “Gator Boys” Paul Bedard and Jimmy Riffle are back in the Sunshine State — but not before they took a bite out of the Big Apple and brought two of their buddies to The Post yesterday for a a glam photo shoot.
But don’t worry — their aquatic friends weren’t found in a local sewer.
The boys’ home, Everglades Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale, has been revamped by the county — and it’s going to take time to get it ready for wrestling and reptiles.
As always, they’ll have their share of calls to rescue nuisance gators — a big part of their popular Animal Planet series, one of the network’s top-rated shows. And the addition of an underwater cameraman will bring you up-close- and-personal to their submerged struggles.
With a combined 30-years of experience, the boys make catching gators look easy. But they also know that one mistake could mean a gator bite — or worse.
Bedard is a triathlete who can hold his breath underwater for at least four minutes and can swim around for hours.
Riffle, meanwhile, has been catching and wrestling gators since the age of 11.
They are both licensed to catch gators in Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
The summer episodes of season two of “Gator Boys” kick off this Sunday night.
