Cleveland kidnap victim Amanda Berry appeared on stage at a concert over the weekend, one day after her captor took a plea deal to rot in jail for the rest of his life.
Berry (in sunglasses), who was freed with two other women in May after a decade in captivity, was all smiles as she danced onstage during a concert Saturday by rapper Nelly (left) at Cleveland’s Voinovich Park.
It was first the public appearance by Berry — who gave birth to a daughter in captivity — since her release.
Her captor, Ariel Castro, on Friday took a life-without-parole plea deal that will spare him from the death penalty.
