Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are back in the TV business.
The pair, who won an Oscar for “Good Will Hunting” in 1998, will executive-produce a CBS sitcom called “More Time With Family.”
It will star Tom Papa (“The Marriage Ref”) and will be based, in part, on Papa’s stand-up comedy routine and the life experiences of Damon, according to deadline.com.
The plot will encompass Papa’s character, who chucks his career to spend more time with his family — which no one (in the family) actually asked him to do. D’oh!
Affleck and Damon previously produced TV shows including “Push, Nevada” and “Project Greenlight.”
Papa and Damon have worked together before on HBO’s “Behind the Candelabra” and the big-screen movie “The Informant.”
