Grayson (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) ruthlessly sets out to compromise Lady Jayne (Victoria Smurfit) by winning her heart. Lucy’s (Katie McGrath) enthusiastic plans forMina (Jessica De Gouw) and Harker’s (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) engagement party conceals a broken heart. Grayson’s unexpected reunion with Josef Cervenka (Alec Newman), a very old friend, proves a growing complication to his and VanHelsing’s (Thomas Kretschmann) mission of vengeance. VanHelsing achieves a breakthrough in his efforts to enable Grayson to conquer sunlight, only to suffer an unanticipated setback.

As Teddy’s (Eric Close, left, with Kimberly Williams-Paisley) wedding day nears, Maddie (Lennon Stella) feels lost and tells Rayna (Connie Britton) she wants to get to know Deacon (Charles Esten) better, forcing Rayna to confront Deacon about stepping up to co-parent. Luke Wheeler (Will Chase) commiserates with Rayna about the challenges of exes and parenting. While on tour in Texas, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) angers a lecherous but very influential radio DJ. Deacon tries to find his way back to music and discovers an unexpected ally in Avery (Jonathan Jackson). While on a date, Will runs into Brent, and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) finds himself in a power position in his singing and songwriting.
