Eddie Izzard has signed a talent deal with NBC to potentially star in a series at the network.
Under the one-year pact, the British comedian would also receive an executive producer credit if he’s cast in the lead of a series.
Izzard already has a relationship with NBC, having guest-starred in two episodes of drama “Hannibal” last season and also starred in the pilot for its “Munsters” reboot, “Mockingbird Lane,” which never made it to a series.
Izzard’s other TV credits include “The Good Wife,” “United States of Tara” and “The Riches” on FX.
He won two Emmys in 2000 for his stand-up special “Eddie Izzard: Dress to Kill.”
