Lakers forward Shawne Williams had two simple words for first-year Nets coach Jason Kidd, and they weren’t Coca- Cola.
“F–k Jason,” Williams told TMZ Sports, when asked about the coach’s infamous soda-spilling incident against the Lakers.
Williams, a former Knick and Net who played with Kidd on the Mavericks in 2008-09, said Kidd cheated, but he ultimately respected what the coach was trying to do to help his team.
The Lakers won the Nov. 27 game, 99-94, at Barclays Center. Kidd was fined $50,000 over the incident.
“Jason Kidd, he do his thing, we still won,” Williams said. “It is what it is. We won, he cheated, he tried to do what he had to do, we still got the win.
“Whatever it takes to win, I respect it.”
