An off-duty NYPD officer was stabbed in the neck and face by a cousin after the cop asked the cousin to stop smoking pot in his Brooklyn home, cops said.
Angel Rosario, 64, stabbed the officer with a knife inside the officer’s Bushwick home at about 3 p.m. Friday. The officer was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, cops said.
Rosario, who sources said lived in a basement apartment at the officer’s home, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, cops said.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly visited the hospital Friday night to see the officer, who was out of surgery and in stable condition.
Police did not release the wounded officer’s name.
