A helicopter rolled over on its side injuring two passengers as it tried to land at Westchester County Airport, the FAA said.
The white H269 helicopter had its uneasy landing on the airport runway in the village of Rye Brook around 8:40 a.m., officials said.
The initial call was placed for a helicopter down but officials later determined it was a hard landing.
There were two people aboard and both suffered non life threatening injuries, police said.
The FAA is still investigating.
