FDNY investigators hit elite Beacon School with eight safety violations stemming from last week’s lab explosion that injured two students, officials said Thursday.
No fines will be assessed as long as the West Side high school addresses a list of infractions that include a lack of safety equipment in at least three rooms.
“The violations varied, but mostly focused on the storage of hazardous material and reducing the amounts of materials on school premises,” FDNY spokesman James Long said.
Two 10th-graders were injured when their teacher let students conduct a demonstration to see a rainbow of flames.
