Queens diamond trader sues in-laws over ‘theft’

A Queens diamond trader has sued his Long Island in-laws for $6 million, claiming they conspired with his alcoholic wife to swipe a booty of baubles from his home.

Yoni Mizrahi, who owns KS Trade LLC, says his father-in-law, Manhattan psychologist Danial Kessler, and mother-in-law, Susan Kessler, sneaked into his Forest Hills home on Jan. 31 and Feb. 11 and swiped sapphire rings, ruby pendants and a 17-carat single blue diamond necklace.

The “monsters-in-law” also hauled away $10,000 in cash and valuable artwork, the Manhattan Supreme Court suit says. The Kesslers are refusing to return the goods, which are locked up in a safe at their Nassau County home, according to court papers.

Mizrahi claims the theft occurred after he reprimanded the Kesslers for letting his wife drive with the children while she was drinking and being treated with psychiatric medication. He blames his mother-in-law for giving his wife access to a car, who then got into an accident while the children were in the vehicle.

The Kesslers did not return calls for comment.
