He may be a hardened criminal, but he’s also a hopeless romantic.
Before he was on the run from the law for allegedly stealing an SUV and nearly running down two cops near the Verrazano Bridge, Tyrell Brown was wooing women on social media from inside his cell during his most recent bid in a New York state prison.
“Ladies what’s the deal?” begins Brown’s profile on the website coldcrib.com — a pen pal forum for prisoners doing hard time.
“My name is Tyrell, but I’m known as ‘FlyRell’ to most…,” the sappy ad reads. “I’m 24 years young, fly, and about my business!”
The jailhouse Romeo’s profile picture shows him wearing a white hoodie, glasses and a black cap sideways on his head.
Brown goes on to sell himself to potential suitors by announcing he has “No kids” and is “single, very versatile, and ambitious…”
He also lays out exactly the type of woman he’s looking to hook up with — once he’s sprung from the slammer, of course, which happened this past May.
“Basically I’m looking for an independent woman that’s grown and about her business as well…,” the profile reads. “Age and race doesn’t matter to me. i don’t discriminate! I love all women. Looks aren’t important. I’m more interested in style and personality.”
He then encourages women to write to him at the Attica Correctional Facility.
Brown is being hunted by police after two Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority cops tried to stop him at the Verrazano Bridge toll plaza as he was driving a Hummer he carjacked in Staten Island on Sunday.
The officers opened fire on the vehicle before Brown plowed through a barricade, disappeared and ditched the car.
Brown is also believed to be linked to two homicides in Staten Island that occurred shortly before he stole the car.
