Two people were seriously injured and another is clinging to life after a car plowed into them on the Lower East Side, authorities said.
The vehicle struck the pedestrians on Rutgers Slip and South Street around 6:50 a.m., Thursday, according to police.
One person suffered life threatening injuries and was rushed to Bellevue hospital, along with two others who had serious injuries. Those two are expected to survive, cops said.
The vehicle remained at the scene and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
