Man who spread celebs’ nudes: My privacy was violated

John Meneses

The man behind the Internet forum that exposed hundreds of hacked nude celebrity photos griped about his own privacy being violated and likened himself to a “cyber-warrior,” according to a new report.

John Meneses, who created a viral Reddit forum called “The Fappening,” which linked to pictures of Jennifer Lawrence and others, told Mail Online that he was upset when media outlets revealed that he was the man behind the online flesh forum.

“I’m not happy about all this, but it happened,” Meneses, 33, told the website.

The Las Vegas bachelor said he is blameless because he didn’t hack the images, but only brought them to the masses.

“The actual hackers are going to go to jail,” he said. “But as for the rest of the Internet . . . it’s already out there.”

The pics were originally posted on the obscure forum 4Chan but were seen by millions after links to them were posted.
